Fischer Reentry Consulting (Jana Fischer) worked with us to design and deploy a series of facilitated meetings to redraft a strategic plan for our employment programs and develop SMART goals that blended our agency goals into the program. Not only was she skillful in bringing our team together, but within our work, we reviewed job descriptions to identify key performance indicators and result areas, clarifying roles and competencies. Our team of mostly new employees was better equipped for collective and individual work ahead. We were able to review processes and procedures that were redundant to increase efficiency and time management.
From the onset, Jana listened to our management team in designing a completely customized plan. We didn't need to fit in "her mold" of offerings but had ability to craft multi-day meetings that met our distinct needs. Jana's contagious energy and empathy helped to get through difficult conversations between staff as we dissected our work and formed future processes.

I was able to attend a training on self-care and boundaries presented by Jana last fall. A short time into the presentation I found myself becoming angry and really identifying with the burnout symptoms that Jana was describing. I spoke with Jana on the break and she was so extremely supportive, asking questions that really got me thinking about my career and the family time I was missing out on while weaving in the idea that even Jesus needed time away to reflect and rest. It was really Jana's presentation that led me down a road of intentionally slowing down and eventually quitting my career in upper management and returning to the type of work that was truly satisfying to me. Jana is a wonderfully personable presenter whose warmth and kindness is truly appreciated.
