ncordia University in St. Paul, MN and is a member of ATD (formerly ASTD), local chapter in the Twin Cities. Jana is an instructor with St. Paul College, in St. Paul, MN and enjoys working with people from all walks of life, helping them to discover their full potential; while learning tools and skills to enhance their day-to-day lives. For over two years now, Jana has been serving community reentry organizations who work extensively with those who have just been released from prison, helping them to become employed by utilizing curriculum that Jana developed, which is titled Employment Readiness and Retention. Jana has worked one-on-one and in group settings to help prepare women for reentry into society, family and their lo
cal communities. Jana coached, facilitated life skills courses, counseled and built reentry plans that were individual and specific to each woman’s needs. Jana also developed a quarterly review of progress for each woman to analyze herself and for their counselor to complete for a 360 feedback process. Jana specializes in organizational infrastructure, training, facilitation, coaching, and human development. Jana facilitated multiple small groups; team building, relationship building skills, circle processes around conflict resolution resulting in enhanced communication, resolving conflicts, and improving teamwork. Jana continues to serve on several community committees; Criminal Justice Advisory Committee in Minneapolis, MN, Southern Valley Alliance for Battered Women on their LAPAC Committee, and is on
ReEntry committees throughout the Twin Cities area.
